A certain amount of men have enlarged breasts which cause aesthetic issues. Gynecomastia is a state of enlarged breasts in men where an increase of gland tissue occurs. This is an extremely rare condition which occurs due to hormonal disorders or hereditary diseases. In practice we usually see a so called fake gynecomastia where the enlargement of breasts happens due to an increase of fat tissue and sagging of the skin. Unfortunately, despite our level of physical activity we cannot achieve results and only aesthetic treatments, i.e. methods help.
Usually it is genetics. With age the level of testosterone decreases and estrogen prevails which enhances the quality of fat tissue. There are numerous drugs responsible for the same changes. Unfortunately, recently external factors such as supplements, pesticide and other which we consume daily have a great effect as well.
To what do we need to pay attention?
With certain men it is simply an excess of fat tissue, excess of skin or both. A method or a treatment is determined based on the cause and usually it is necessary to combine more methods to get best results because oftentimes we are dealing with a combination of excess skin and fat. With some men only the area around their nipples is affected while with others the excess of skin spans towards the armpits.
Liposuction can be used along with surgery. Recently new methods and treatments have been developed.

Results cannot be seen immediately and 6 to 9 months are needed to see the final result. After the end of the treatment results are seen gradually or there are no changes for a longer period of time and then they appear overnight. No recovery period is needed.
