Belly button corrections

Belly button corrections

After childbirth or weight gain oftentimes the belly button gets damaged - excessive skin with stretch marks appears, which is a grave aesthetic problem. The belly button becomes deformed and aesthetically unattractive, and as a consequence many women wear one piece bathing suits. Surgery is just one of the options which can improve the appearance of the belly button, unfortunately it cannot help completely.

Belly button surgery is recommended to women once they decide to stop giving birth because after surgery the skin cannot be stretched anymore. Therefor, there is a need for non-invasive methods which oftentimes achieve significantly better results. Great advantage of non-invasive methods is in the fact that after the treatment childbirth is still an option. The goal is to reduce stretch marks and reduce the excess of skin by tightening it which results in a nicely shaped belly button. None of the methods mentioned in this article are aggressive or painful and there is no need for sick leave.

Radio-waves

6 treatments which use electromagnetic energy to cause inflammation and damages of connective tissue are needed. The damage is a sign for the organism to produce new collagen and to strengthen the existing one with a tightening effect.

Fractional radio-waves

The principle is the same as with radio-waves but causes additional microscopic damages underneath the skin. These damages are then ejected from the organism and replaced with new collagen, with a skin tightening effect. 3 treatments are needed.

Carboxytherapy

The goal is to inject Co2 under the skin with the tinniest needle which is then going to provoke a tightening effect. 3 to 6 treatments are needed.

Fillers

Hyaluronic acid is needed, which is a natural structural skin ingredient. The goal is to provoke the development of new collagen and fill out the created gaps and shape the belly button. One treatment is needed and this method is usually combined with other mentioned methods.

Fractional ablative lasers

  • erbium
  • carbon dioxide (CO2)

With optical energy microscopic damages are caused underneath the skin, which are then ejected from the organism and compensated with new tissue. 1 to 3 treatments are needed. The goal is to reduce stretch marks and tighten the skin.

Fractional non-ablative lasers

Functions on the same principles as an ablative fractional laser but is used for stretch marks reduction. 1 to 3 treatments are needed.
